Zoom Meetings are not Actually End-to-End Encrypted
While we all know about Zoom and its security aspects of end to end encryption. However, according to a recent report by Intercept, this fact isn’t correct. The proclamation has been made by The Intercept after they asked one of the representatives of Zoom about meetings that occurred through video calls are end to end encrypted. In reference to this context, the representative said nowadays, it is hard for Zoom to keep these meetings end to end encrypted. However, The Intercept has added that the representative later said that Zoom is currently using TLS encryption technology to secure its user’s data. He defends this fact by including that TLS technology is much advanced than E2E and the fact that it is used by several internet browsers to protect their HTTPS webpages .
